The Prologue

Our adventures begin in the year 2383. The Alpha Quadrant is once again at an uneasy peace. The Dominion is defeated and has retreated. No Borg Cubes have been seen in years. The various powers are at least talking. With no immediate threat in sight, it is a time for the next great age of exploration! Still, you never know what an uneasy peace will turn into turmoil. There may be yet another unknown power, poised to take over known space.

The USS Kamehameha (NCC-70101) is on a ongoing mission to seek out new life and new civilizations. Along the way, they may be called upon keep the peace, or answer an emergency call. Still, her destiny is to see new shores.

Star Trek Kamehameha is a game that honors Mr. Roddenberry's original vision. Yes, wars happen, but the Federation is founded on the idea that rationality can win out. It is founded on principles of peaceful co-operation. It is founded on the principles that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one. Mr. Roddenberry hoped for the best for the human race, while still seeing our stubbornness and intolerance.

Star Trek Kamehameha is a co-operative Star Trek writing game. It is free form. There is an administrator, but every player is to be considered a valuable part of the plotting team. Each and every player is expected to do plotting, to think up suprises for the group, to create non-playing characters, to move the story along and to work hard at interacting with the other players. In the grand tradition of the first Star Trek PBEM games, we are all responsible for the success of the game. If you are ready to be lead by the nose through a plot someone else has thought up, then go no further. If you are ready to experience things the way I remember them from ten years ago, then please do apply.
