What is that? Sorry I live in the UK and we don't get many USA programmes over here apart from Desperate Housewives (urgh), Joey (argh!) and The Dead Zone (fab).

I haven't seen the show myself, but the basic premise is that these '4400' people are abducted and returned (years?) later, seemingly unchanged, at least from outside appearances. It's my understanding, though, that that is hardly the case. Anyway, it's in its second season, now, with the first out on DVD (or soon to be). I'm sure others can give a much better description than my meager one. Heck, even a google search can do better than that.  |

As for the UK, it's only been shown on Sky One - which is a satellite channel - if you can pick it up then re-runs of seris one are being shown on Wendesdays (I think) - but the seris was originally shown on Sundays.
I saw it the first time round and quite liked it, but I'd have to think about the poll.

Thanks for all of the information! Yes, it sounds quite interesting in an X-Files kind of way. How would you run the game? Would all the characters have their own stories or would it be run as a group game? Would you follow the storyline of the show or create your own? |

Um, I'd like to follow the line of the show, but I don't want to copy it. (that is if enough people want to join). I have one story that has kind of an x-files theme already going (without the aliens) If you would like to check it out. I love The 4400, and I would really like to start a game off of it.

NYTimes piece on 4400 today. ( it contains a major spoiler if you didn't watch the first mini-series.) The description of the show's creator's discussions with the USA TV cable network on when to reveal the "big secret" (he'd planned on the 5th season, they decided the end of the first five-episode miniseries) reminds me of Harlan Ellison's description of his experience with his "Starlost" TV series. Alright, I'm going to put the game up some time. I am open to any suggestions on how I should do it. Here are a few questions I have on those of you who are intersed in joining.
Should we follow the story or just the story "plot"?
