The PROLOUGE/story line:
Sometime far in the future the earth has become a ruin after centuries of war over resources. Cities are abandoned and falling to ruin, just as the way of life the people there once had has crumbled away. Few governments still remain those that do rule with an iron fist, they are called tyrants. Currency’s only value now is that of the metal or paper from which it is made. The few people who still live dwell in small communities in whatever shelter they can find. Food is scarce as much of the land has become unusable due to the war damage, so people treat it with the highest value. The entire world is in shambles people die every day from starvation, fights and accidents. This is the world you live in.
You are at what was once the great city of Niagara Falls whose beauty was unrivaled. Now the water runs a toxic black most of the towers have crumbled, but you have come here because it is one of few places where plants of all verity grow freely. The air here was too thick with toxins to breathe only four generations ago though now it is clear enough to breath unfiltered this place is not without its dangers. In this place the water from the river is toxic to humans though it seems the plants have adapted. Only a few places hold clean water within the wood but most water must come from the ground water source in the abis. The abis is the waste land that surrounds the Niagara wood full of land mines, and with the nearest well fifty miles away from the wood edge getting water is no easy task, but must be done daily. Yet the trials of daily life do not end there, the market rumor (the main may of getting news in this era) says that The tyrant of short hill plantation (short hills national park) to the east of the Niagara wood is trying to bring this area under his/her control as well, but not only he/she attempts this. Word spreads rapidly across the wood of a new tyrant coming to power within the wood .The power struggle leads to daily battles for fighters, power, resources and territory. The rumors say only that the new tyrant does not seem to behave the same as the rest ,as people who refused to ally themselves to him ...live.
