Everyone has their goals. Maybe you want to be utterly efficient in all things, or perhaps flexibility is paramount. You want to be the best chef in existence so that you can heal the world with the smells and tastes of wonders they never knew.

And one day something changes. The Efficiency Expert becomes mechanically precise, able to move so accurately so softly that they can remove a tumor with their bare hands and piece of glass. The contortionist finds she can turn to string and coil their body into a ball, or snake under doors. The Chef finds that in some strange way he can reach into this diners and tear out the damaged bits and replace them with healthy muscle, made from the very meal he just served.

These lucky few have had scales ripped from their eyes and revealed to them a new world. One where your obsessions, failures, and philosophy defines not only who you are, but what you can do. They will not go alone, however. Each of them will discover a spirit deep within; so that they may discover a world that they cannot see, so that they may obtain that which is out of reach. A Phantom craft from their own soul shall guide them.

In the distance, a war is brewing. The Black Parade marches toward their enemy, while the eternal Block Party rages on, unaware and uncaring of the oncoming storm. Who shall you choose? The Order and the reminder of Death the Black Parade brings or the Celebration of Life of the Block Party. Or shall you walk a path less traveled? That is your decision, and yours alone.

To say this game is inspired by Persona would be fair, but not entirely truthful.  It is directly inspired by something a bit older, with a power escalation curve to make a mathematician scratch his head in complete amazement.

What I mean to say is I need some creative players that can think pretty far outside the box. So long as you bring a willingness to experiment with odd powers, I want you.

Casting is open once again. Here's a quick summary of the game from one of the players:
____________

"The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense."
-Tom Clancy

Portland is screwed.  Warring factions, the mafia, massive outbreaks of the supernatural, serial killers, occult bookstores, hipsters, and movie afficionados are just the more obvious threats the streets face.

Evidence of anything but the most mundane of daily horrors is so rare as to be nonexistent.  People show up in hospitals with massive wounds they can't explain the source of, pipes explode, and occasionally the sound man dances in front of the speakers with everybody else, no equipment in sight.  When presented with the bizarre, people do the same thing they have always done when reality refuses to match up with their preconceived notions of reality.

They ignore it.

That is where our players come in.  Having generally ignored this bizarre powder keg of the supernatural, how do they react when they are forcefully sucked into it?

So far, the answer has been to go mad in a rather rapid and showy fashion.  Nobody is quite sure what is actually going on, but there have been explosions in public places, kidnappings, and some very impressive displays of badassedry.

We've laughed, we've cried, we've screamed, and we've curled up in the corner to whimper quietly while the world falls apart around us.  Strange secrets have come to light, and very slowly the actual depth of the world makes itself known.

And isn't it our luck?  Good and evil seem to be largely a matter of perspective...
