Suspend me,or kick me out,but the fact remains that the current batch of stores fall into the Sleep Aid aisle at your local Walgreens. In the years past there where stores of Adventure, heroic epics that went from King Arthur's Britian,to Rome itself. Just this man's opinion. ::Shrugs::

You could suggest these ideas in the Requests for Scripts area of the forum—perhaps without belittling current efforts, as some of the SCs whose work you find boring might wish to run a story like you describe at a later point.  I find that most people tend to write in and enjoy a variety of genres or types of stories here.

You are free to look through the existing stories--find something to your interest and lurk there, reading. Many SC's encourage lurking and appreciate an acknowledgement of their achievements; theirs and their cast. They'll pass it on to the others--I've been in stories that have gathered an audience. If it has been running a few years, it will take you quite a bit of time to catch up. And there are some very GOOD stories out there.

And, should you wish to start one of your own, I'd be most interested in what you select to do. Being a StoryCrafter isn't easy but can be quite absorbing.  You should try it.

Be that as it may, it's not something that needs to be publically spoken about, Casca.  If you're unhappy with the current 'new' games, be creative and start your own, but don't come onto a public forum and start crying foul because people aren't making what you deem worthy.

Casca, I don't want to see any more comments like the one you made.  Period.  You get a pass on it this time because there was some minor baiting involved (and no more of that, either, from anyone), but no more.

People, if there is someone here with whom you have issues, please don't crack jokes about them or their posts.  It can be viewed as an inflammatory remark.  Then someone says something they shouldn't, the mods have to delete a bunch of posts and ban someone, etc.

Obviously cracking jokes with your friends is fine, and you all know who they are.  :)

Edit - and because this topic is inflammatory to begin with, and has become a hotspot, it's getting closed.  And I'd rather we don't see a repeat of it in the future.
