What if Dashiell Hammett wrote Sailor Moon?
Saccharine sparkles and glamorous costumes collide at breakneck speeds with displaced alien refugees and a galaxy-spanning blight. Using the Big Eyes Small Mouth system (mostly first edition), Genseirin No Shrikes is a mishmash of old film noir storytelling devices and the magical girls genre (largely as popularized by Sailor Moon), with a few dashes of Go Nagai and whatever else strikes the fancy of the masses for flavor and consistency. It alternates wildly between serious and comedic, and hopefully there will always be a light at the end of the tunnel.
