Hey everyone:

I'm just curious to know if anyone uses the "Publish" function, and how effective it is?  Is it risky at all?  I notice it's in "Beta", so I was wary about clicking it -- and ending up LOSING everything.  Can the files it generates be deleted?  Can it generate pages from private pages as well?  Did I miss some section of the website that answers all these questions?

If I did, I apologize.  And I appreciate anyone taking the time to address this question.  Thank you!

I've tried it a couple of times. It worked and it does not affect what is already there, but it gives a downloadable option for what has been written. While I have not used it extensively, it does seem to work, and I can see how it would be practical for you.

It causes several copies of your story to shoot out of a printer at The Founders' house, with his name on the front cover, along with several envelopes printed with the addresses of major publishers.

Don't press it!
