I think too much.

Another thing that would make things easier for me sometimes would be either a message link under a character avatar that would let you reach the send message area directly from the page you are on, or if you click on the picture, have a message link on the cast character page that comes up. It cuts out a few steps if you need to write someone.

It seems this would only cut out one 'click' as you can click on "No New Messages" (if, of course, you don't have any new messages, if you have a message it'll read differently) from any page on the site outside of threads. From the cast pages, certainly. It brings you to your inbox. Then it's only one more 'click' to compose a message.

Or perhaps I'm misunderstanding something?

It cuts out two clicks, if there is a link below the portrait, where the 'edit' button is, while inside a thread. That's normally where/when I end up with something to say. And you are correct, it is a small thing. Smiley
