Hello, fellow crafters.

I'm Cade, author of Effigy of Fate; an ongoing fantasy adventure. It's hard to believe that three weeks from now marks the 5th anniversary of our (mine and my players) little tale. During those years, I've made some wonderful friends and additions to the tale, and have had the honor to write with some of the finest crafters who ever took pen to paper...or in this case, finger to key.

I'm a little sentimental about this. There have been some times when I thought that the story would surely fall due to factors outside my direct control. But my players proved me wrong each time, to my delight and eternal gratitude. They stood by me through thick and thin and showed a determination to make EoF great. So I give them praises and thanks for all they've done and all they'll continue to do. My life and my tale- our tale- is truly enriched due to their efforts and steadfast will.

I'd also like to extend thanks to the fans that have sent so many wonderful messages and mails to me. I cannot express enough how much it means to me to have people enjoy what we've created. The critiques, the acclamations, all of them have given me fuel to carry on, and to give a great tale. I tip my hat to you all in gratitude.

And last, but certainly not least, I thank the Founder and staff of StoryCrafter for keeping up this wonderful place. It's more akin to a second home to me than a web site. Without it, Effigy would never have been written, and that I feel would be a sad thing indeed. Please accept my most heart felt thanks in appreciation of what you have done here.

Well, I guess I went on there for a bit. But, I can't get rid of this smile and I wanted to share it with everyone. To you and yours, I wish you the best in your endeavors, your tales, and to whatever else you pursue.

With the most deepest regards,

Cade

Congratulations, Cade.  Smiley  You and your players have really created something special with that game (I know, I've read it...).

Well done! Many stories collapse around here within weeks. It's inspiring to see a story with staying power!

I've given you a Kudos because you deserve it. I don't know what it can be used for. Perhaps you can exchange it for a Storycrafter t-shirt?

Yeah! Or perhaps some hotdogs...like they used to serve at Shea -rubs tummy- Ahhh, blessed indigestion.

On a serious note, thank you very much. I appreciate the compliments. Smiley

For some reason I woke up this morning with the title of your story in my head. It's a very nice title.

Hey, well done!

The only criticism I have of the story is that it doesn't feature any giant robots. I hope this will be corrected in the next five years.

Rock on Effigy Of Fate!

*gritting teeth*  Carter, stifle thyself.  I'm in that story now, and don't much feel like being stomped.  O_O
