StoryCrafterVerse

Your life was never one of adventure and so you made your own on StoryCrafter.com. Logging onto your favourite site, you ignore the reports on the news of strange storms sweeping the world; blue lightning crackling through the heavens. With one eye on the homepage, you switch the channels with your remote and catch the end of another news report in which a librarian in Texas claims that all of the books in the library have mysteriously gone blank. It is apparently the seventh case of such a happening in one day.

As your fingers begin to type away, something thunders outside and blue lightning runs up the keyboard, flowing up your arms and hands. In the blink of an eye, you find yourself in a strange new world but it is not one that is completely unfamiliar to you. It is the world of one of the stories you have been following on StoryCrafter!

I have an idea for a story in which your character (perhaps based upon yourself?) is pulled into the StoryCrafterVerse; a place created by imagination itself. You discover that The Nothing is attempting to destroy the StoryCrafterVerse and that the mysterious deity who rules over the realms ("The Founder") has been imprisoned within its tower by The Nothing which seeks to destroy imagination itself. An ancient prophecy speaks of those who will come from another world to free The Founder and destroy The Nothing.

The idea is that each act would be set around an existing gameworld here on the site (I would, of course, ask for the SC of that particular story's permission beforehand). The characters would have to find the portal leading to the next world until they eventually end up at the center of the StoryCrafterVerse and hopefully save the day in order to return to their own world.

It's probably a silly idea but thought I'd throw it out to the masses anyway.
