I just noticed that two characters in my game had lost their pictures. Interestingly it looks like the images are also broken in the gallery. One use to have the code 8954 and the other doesn't have a code but it looks like it came from page 57 when you browse the new gallery.
I've also noticed a few quirks with the new editor and putting a link to an image. It did work but it didn't show in the preview.
Also it seems my default character changed, which was a change for the better but it surprised me when it happened.
Were you able to get your image back by browsing the gallery? And the editor, can you now insert images properly?
