Not only can I not seem to stay logged in (going back to the main page, or even changing pages within a story, often gives me the login spaces and blocks sight of my characters), but I just got a messed up character manager several pages long full of other people's characters. And the secondary account that logs in from this computer (long story, I found an old account in ancient email and checked on it to see what characters I'd left behind when I forgot I had it) has turned into a gibberish name.

Something is a lot worse than just security, The Founder. Did your hacker leave a backdoor into the site, or a virus?

I have disabled the remember me function to require all people to log in manually. You will automatically log out after a period of inactivity (so write your post elsewhere then paste them in). As for your character manager issues, this is a known issue when you have multiple accounts logging on with the same computer. I highly discourage this practice as you will have this issue, all you need to do to rectify it however is go to the character manager screen and click update, that will right your character manager.

There doesn't seem to be anything unusual here.

Will the Remember Me function be returning or has this proved too complicating to reintroduce? It did make it easier to impulse-check for updates quickly from work.

Thank you,

I will be returning it with additional security, it may take a week or so though.
