I am listed as a principle author on one of the stories I play in but we're in the early stages so I'm creating, and writing as, other characters to help move the story along. Once added to the cast these new characters get listed as my "current character" and then I lose my PA status. Transposing over my character details messes up previous posts and still doesn't solve the problem of my lack of ability to edit acts/se cast details. Is there any way I can get round this other than having my PA status switched between characters by the SC as they get created and thus really confusing my cast members?

The way I understand it is, as a PA, you should have many of the same abilities as if you were the SC.  Which should include being able to post as any character by utilizing the drop down menu at the bottom of each post (I believe it says 'post as:' )

However, if you 'reassigned the character' to yourself under their character profile, then that might be the cause of the problem.  If so, just go back under their profile and reassign them again, and see if that fixes the problem.

Alternatively, if you tell me the story (or link it) I might be able to solve the problem if the above doesn't make any sense. :S

Last I knew, there was a weird bug where if an older character of a PA (say a recycled character sheet) was added to a story, that older character would become the "Current Character" and the PA would loose their proper privileges.
