This is to be based of the hit Showtime series, The Tudors, though there is to be room for inventiveness and creativity as we will not be following the plot of the show, to a fault. We will make sure to hit upon the important events and moments of that time, but details are more of a personal decision. It is a story of passion and deceit, politics and affairs, treachery and love, power and vices... As was the life of Henry the VIII and his court.

*THE RULES*
As with any Kings Court there must be rules so that things run smoothly and those under and above us do not wander amuck.
1. No God modding. There is only one God and you are not him. If you wish to control more than one character. I am fine with that, but you must ask before taking them on. This also applies to characters that belong to others. Do not write for their actions. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
2. I ask that each member of the Court be no younger than the age of eighteen. I will not accept applications from minors so I expect you to be upfront and honest stating you are over the required age when applying. Storycrafter does not ask us to provide our ages as they deem the stories to be PG-13. However, I have no interest in writing with a thirteen year old, and as such make the requirement myself.
3. In continuation of the second rule in regard to the nature of the story that will follow. Fade where appropriate. While this story is and will be based on actions both historical and from the Showtime series from were many of the pictures and ideas may come, we all know the Storycrafter rule of fading, use your judgement as to when, but please do when the time comes.
4. Bios do not need to be fifty pages long. Neither do posts. HOWEVER! one liners will be deleted. I don't care if you write only one paragraph, but give your fellow writers something to work with. I will provide a three strikes your out process on this. I will warn you twice, either myself or one of my PA's on my behalf. If on a third time one liners are still being posted the writer will be removed and the character recast.
5. If you are going to be away for an extended period of time please let myself or one of the PA's know. If you are gone for more than a week and are either in an active thread or a principal charcater, which most will be, let us know you will be absent so we can take appropriate action. Most of the time this will involve writing the charcater into storage so they are safe and able to continue when their writer returns. If one week has passed and nothing has been said, the writer will be asked what is going on. If another week passes and we do not get a reply, we will store the charcater on your behalf, HOWEVER you will still need to notify us as to if you will have absenses on a regular basis. the net does go down and people do get busy, but if you join this story then please make the time to be a part of it.
