Streets

The setting is the modern city of San Francisco, where there are so many homeless youths that is often rated number 1 year after year. Many problems arise with people that have nowhere to go, especially when there are thousands with mental disorders, drug addictions and gang affiliations. Beggars line the streets but as long as people can step over them the longer they will be ignored. Fights and disease often spread like wildfire with many not remembering what happened yesterday or where they got anything from. The police, often are a mixture of apathy and annoyance when it comes to the homeless, often just moving them out of the way for the working folk.

This story will be a small group of friends that live in this world and have to live with it whether they like it or not. Most of their needs seem primal: food, shelter, warmth. But to them, they just want to survive.

This is a story that will be for the long term, at least lasting a year and possibly longer. Please only serious applicants.

Right now we have four writers who post regularly and I am just looking for 1-2 more writers to fill the group.
