How do I change the avatar pic for my story that shows on the main sc page?  

I also want to put a pic to show on the main page of my story

1)  You can't.

2)  Like so:

    Load the desired image into your Images list.

    On your Options page there's a text field labeled "Top Box".  Enter the HTML in the Top Box field:

    <p align="center"><img src="http://www.storycrafter.com/sgfx/
[story ID]/[image filename]"></p>[/list]

"Genius" -- that was correct.  It's one of those words that just doesn't LOOK right, I think.  With me, it's things like "guard" and "gauge".
