Okay...I'm officially very pleased (so far) with the IM chat. I especially like the "handwrite a message" option -- should come in VERY handy!

It's on the very bottom of every page (unless your using a mobile browser apparently). It's javascript based though so you will need to have that enabled.

Oh you mean the handwrite message feature? When in a IM with someone look for the pencil icon near the top of the chat window.

And now with a chat room!
Question: Regarding the "Story Watch List" -- is there a way to add titles there without actually having a character in the game? And/or is this a function that will be coming soon possibly? Sort of like the "Like" button in FB, where you can "LIKE" certain stories here on storycrafter.com and add them to a personal watch list then?

And just out of curiousity, to make sure I'm not going crazy this morning...
...the the "publisher options" tab on the bottom of the screen inside of threads new? I see I can now add in page breaks between posts...was I always able to do this?

In all honesty, I think it was added during your hiatus. It's relatively new and I don't know how long it was there before I spotted it either.

Not at this time, but there's been times where I'd like to do that so I can see the benefit of such a feature.

Yes. I've not changed the publish options for some time now. Also note you can re-order post as a publishing option. It's not a page break though, it's just a graphical break (inserts a scene break graphic) to break on a page you need to span multiple acts.

Yeah, there seems to be a lot to storycrafter that I need to discover since returning from my long absence...although I'm definitely not complaining! Looking forward to exploring all of these "new" options!

I'm experimenting adding Instant Messaging to the site. You can opt out of the experiment by using the drop-down box in "Member Center" area to navigate to > "Update My Info!" and clicking on the "Disable IM"
Well, as cool as the idea is, it's not playing well with the mobile version of Safari, so I'm afraid I have to turn it off. Unfortunately, I'm unclear as to where "Member Center" is in order to do that.

okay, go to the front page. look in the right column where you member name is, the dropdown right under there will let you go to the "Update My Info!" page, scroll all the way to the bottom and click the disable IM link.

AH! Got it. See, just moving out of a wifi hotspot logs me off most of the time. I hardly ever go to that box. Thanks!
