StoryCrafter Portrait gallery is now PicLens enabled for those that have that plugin. http://www.piclens.com/Features: * Clicking on the image link icon will properly switch your character portrait * Doing a search, or choosing gender will properly reduce the PicLens gallery BEFORE you enter PicLens

Rather like the new Storycrafter Icon, myself. Spiffy!

Migrated from phpBB to SMF and integrated the site with the forum for more consistent user experience.

I like the new icon most of the new styling.
What I'm not sure about is the way the icon moves around depending on if one is on the main page or within a story. I can see why you did it -- having it on the far right does place the focus on the story itself more effectively.
I still find it very disconcerting, probably partially out of habit, probably partially because I rarely see a website where the site logo moves like that and I don't expect it. My screen is wide enough that it's pretty far off in the corner.
I use the main page as a homepage, navigating to my stories through my Watch List as necessary, and then navigating back to the main page when I'm done using the site icon. I use Firefox, so simply hitting the back button doesn't refresh the main page, making it a less optimal means of navigation. I also use the icon fairly frequently to reload the main page when I check to see if there have been updates.
I'll probably get used to the change eventually and I can certainly deal with it, but I'm not convinced it's the best design for the site.
That's my two cents, anyway.

Alhaja, I'm just trying it out to see if I like it. I'll leave it that way for a while to determine usability but will probably end up going back to a thin bar at the top and encapsulating member info/login into it.

Yeah, trying it out is really the only way to see if it works.

This is good. It means I can now go and bug The Founder in person for my StoryCrafter hat and t-shirt.

I have updated the rules and prologue pages so that you can use the Rich-Text editor on them. I did the same for when you update the character sheet.
The new editor is a bit more streamlined with less functionality but it provides added security that we were lacking in the previous version.
I have disabled the use of javasript/flash/objects in the user defined content areas of the story for security reasons.

Spell Checking has been added to the rich-text control used in the act/prologue/rules/and character sheets. Spell right already.

Eliminated cross posting bug that would put post on the wrong acts on occasion, even in acts where you might not have access to post. This bug has been there since the beginning of storycrafter.
