Law & Order: SFPD

This case would start as two but as more details came in, would merge. The murder case first, a clear hit on a 40 year old shop keep with no record. Puzzled with no clues leading to the motive or culprit, it would look like the case was going to go unsolved. Then a state's witness goes missing, which would turn out to be the 40 year dead body. Believing the motive was to silence the woman, both cases now would get a fresh new life. After interviewing the DA that issued the victims missing person alert it would be discovered that the woman was to be a witness for a murder done two months back by a gang leader. She had been wrestling with coming forward and only recently did. The DA had been working on a conspiracy to commit murder charge against the gang leader and had intended to use the woman to aid her with that case then get the guy on murder. Because the DA had yet to officially make the woman a witness the question of how the gang leader knew of her would become the most important question.
