Like the title says.  More games with dark heros.  Too many overly-goody good guys.  Something that would let me tear a bad guy's arm off and use it to splatter the other badguy's brains against the wall.

Ew!

Hum.  Had I more time I could consider something like that ... I'll put it on the back burner.

As you can probably guess, most of my gaming sessions quickly devolved into R rated situations.  One at least one occasion, we actually made it to NC-17 for violence alone.  The DM made his brother leave the room.

Anyways.  The character concept I have brewing is a shapeshifter named Monster.

Power:  Monstosity
Monster posseses a very limited form of shape-shifting.  He may "set" an alternate form, which he may then shift to at any time.  Setting a form takes days of concentration, while actually shifting is a matter of seconds, though he often stretches it out longer than he has to, as it is a visually horrific process.  He can't copy a specific person, though he could probably manage to look like a relative, if he was inclined to try (which he never is).

[Default form resembles a demon of some kind: giant muscles, nasty-looking claws, red rhino-like skin, big horns, bony spikes and ridges along his back, and a broad mouth full of evilly-pointed teeth.  Charcter image #935]

The only problem I have with such a request is the fact that I am not certain that other characters would be into that sort of thing.

Specifically because it tends to turn into god-moding...

I've seen some things that are pretty dark, but almost nothing I can think of that looked that graphically violent. The ones I've seen and followed haven't lasted, but the same can be said about most stories -- I don't think the subject had anything to do with it in the cases I've seen. My guess is that even if no one starts a story in response to your post, something reasonably appropriate will show up eventually. Then, like with anything, you hope it lasts.

Sounds about right, Alhaja, keeping in mind that R-rating for violence (ie - R rated Hollywood violence) is about as explcit as it gets on Storycrafter.
