Hello and welcome to StoryCrafter!

If you want to join a brand new story, I'd recommend looking on the main page of the site. If you're willing to join a story that's been active for a while or even one that's no longer on the main page but still relatively new, I'd recommend looking here on the Current Interactive Stories page. The stories are listed by most recently updated and those that are still casting are marked. Alternately, you can use the links on the main page to the lists categorized by genre, which are also listed by most recently updated.

Another place to look is the Casting Call section of the forum. Even some of the stories that were posted quite a while ago will still be casting.

There's also some good suggestions on this forum post: So, uh ...

I hope you find something that interests you.

No problem. I think there could probably be a better FAQ and introductory section that would make it easier to get started. It can definitely seem intimidating at first and it can be frustrating to explore the website when that's not what you're interested in doing.

The above post has been deleted Pike.  We have been having issues with people registering and then posting links to pornography, which of cousre, is against SC rules.  The mods are usually on top of things, and deal with those right away, but any assitance is always welcome.  Should you suspect something, don't open it, but rather send one of the mods (myself, Webdanzer, Syndra, or Shanna) a PM and we will look into it and take necessary action, including banning the IP address of said user).

Now that that is out of the way, welcome to the site, ad I hope you ahve an enjoyable time here. Smiley
