With no sons, their father must make a choice as to whom the crown and the Kingdom of Tyra will be left to. But his death precedes any decision he would have made, leaving succession up in the air. However, although King Van did not choose a woman to rule after him, it is rumoured that he did write down what was to be done should he die without an heir. Until the time that one of the young women is decided upon, General Tavin holds the land in his very capable hands.
Red, Black and White. That is sometimes how the girls are referred to. The eldest has flowing red hair, the middle darker skin and hair, and the youngest has extremely fair hair, nearly white. The youngest is the wildest, acting as she sees fit, though most others would consider her manner to be a trifle inappropriate. She is, though, just eighteen. The eldest is the sweetest, a wise, quiet and kind young woman. She will be twenty-three next month. And the middle child is twenty, a girl with a sharp tongue and an intelligent mind, but with a good deal of cynicism for the world.
Two weeks after the death of their father, a party is being held. It is here that the rules of succession will be revealed, and perhaps where one will be chosen. General Tavin has read the papers, but has refused to let a hint of what they say come out.
Gathered are nobles of Tyra and visiting royalty from other lands, all with their eyes fixed on Red, Black and White. For Tyra is a powerful Kingdom and the woman who controls it will be strong indeed.

There will be six writers in the story and each will get a chance to write with the others. When you send in your application, please give me a background for your character, at least a few hearty paragraphs long, or more detailed if you wish.
I would like players eighteen or older for purposes of quality and experience, and they must be willing to write quality posts of at least two paragraphs long. Spelling and grammar should be checked each time.
