I just joined.  This particular board seems pretty dead, but I thought I'd post here anyway because I'm not entirely sure how to get started on this site.  It's an interesting format, though, and one that I'd like to try out.  So is anyone looking for a player?  There's not really one genre that I prefer -- I'll do fantasy or sci-fi or reality or whatever, so long as it's well-written and well-moderatred.  I do prefer original stuff, though.  I know my way around the English language, and promise to be an asset to whatever story I find that can keep my attention, really.

I'd also suggest clicking on the 'more stories' link beneath the newly added stories listing at the bottom of the main page.  You'll then get pages of lists of stories that have updated recently.  Each one will have a snippet of description, and you'll be able to see from there if they are looking for new cast members. (The 'Join the Cast' option will be present)

That's a good way to get a sampling of active stories.
