Just ran into this... interestingly. Hopefully staff can fix it for me. I uploaded a picture, but was unable to use it. I think I figured out the problem... the name of the file include a percentage sign, and an underscore. After removing those, I was able to re-upload the picture and it worked fine. The problem... is that I can't delete the old ones!
Can someone help me?

It was my understanding that the picture uploader had been disabled for the time being (if you just recently uploaded them to the databse, I'd be interested to know how you did this), but yes, we can delete the old ones for you. Just list the number(s) of the pic(s) you want deleted, as well as the page number it appears on and Shanna can axe them. : )

I was refering to the picture files that each story has. Were those also supposed to be taken down? If so... forget I said anything.

Apparently my attempt at sarcasm has failed. Such is the peril of a simple text medium I suppose.
At any rate, I will refrain from any such flavor is my few future posts. And, i will rephrase myself for the sake of whoever may need to see this.

Per the suggestion given here, I contacted Shanna, the Admin. She was very helpful, and apparently attempted to remove the file also. However, she has informed me that I should contact the sight Developer concerning this issue.
The picture in question uses a percentage sign in it's name, which appears to be causing the problem. As such, using the remove file command results in the site telling me it cannot find the file... and the link it shows does not possess the percentage in the name of the file.
If I had realized this when originally adding the photo, I would have changed it. I did not, until it was too late. The photo constitutes only a small percentage, per haps 8 percent, of the total space available for any given story. So, if it must be left, that is fine with me. It will not hurt me any.
However, I thought it best that the Admins of the sight be aware of the issue, if they were not already, and thought perhaps they could assist me. If I can be of any assistance, please let me know.

Udnerstandable. And, of course, it is worthless to me as is, since the same type of linking that is used to delete it, is used to show it in a post.

As a side note, I know for a fact that the underscore doesn't interfere with it, as I have some like that under my own 'images' section. It's possible that the % sign, though, is the culprit. =/
