I'm not in the game, so this is an outsider's opinion.  Okay, more of a reflection...

The premise is solid.  There was a game, maybe about six months back, that used a similar premise, and I did join that one.  It lasted only a couple of weeks before the SC "accidentally" deleted the game.  I would have joined this one (or tried to, anway) with the character I used in the other... but it closed too quickly.

You've got a big cast (which can be tricky to even get in the short span of time a game is on the front page), and what looks to be at least a few people who think outside the box.  If your story is up to the same standard as the premise, you should be able to make a good go of it.

Still, expect half your cast to vanish on you over the next month.  That just happens.

I agree with Argyle - the premise looks good and quite interesting.  You could have a good run with this one, if your cast holds out.  Sorta wish I had seen it as well, but then again, I'm quite busy as it is.

If you start losing players, and it WILL happen, with any luck your active players will know some persons willing, capable and eager to join in.  As a Storycrafter myself, let me say this - don't get discouraged and don't 'kill' anyone off immediately when you lost them.  You might just get someone to 'adopt' a character and sometimes those with RL issues actually come back!  NPC's can be your friend.

Deal with the slow times with patience and pick a GOOD Principal Author - they can be absolutely invaluable.

It looks like a good yarn - I may just have to lurk about and watch.   Smiley

I would say pretty much the same thing as the others have.

The premise is certainly interesting and you've done an excellent job of presenting it, as is evidenced by the number of players you so quickly got. I believe by the time I saw it on the front page, casting was already closed, which is quite impressive.

It looks like you've gotten a quite a few players who are creative and enthusiastic, which is a definite plus. I was impressed with the mix of mortal occupations and personalities and the gods from varying cultures that you have.

While you'll probably lose some as the game progresses, as all games seem to, I suspect you'll still have enough to continue and if you decide to open casting again, I wouldn't be surprised to see more people applying to join. If the story stays fairly active, it's even possible you'll get messages from people browsing through stories who are interested in joining.

I wish all the stories people started were of this quality.
